Materials guide
Corten steelOutdoor2 mm or 3 mm
Weathering steel, cut and supplied bare: no coating, and not pre-rusted. It arrives as plain steel and rusts naturally outdoors, forming a patina that protects the steel underneath.
Stainless steelOutdoor2 mm
Grade 304 stainless steel, brushed No.4 sheet, supplied uncoated. Bright, low maintenance and rust-resistant away from the coast.
AcrylicIndoor6 mm
Cast acrylic with a gloss face and laser-polished edges. For feature walls, room dividers and shopfronts indoors.
Timber veneerIndoor12 mm
Real timber veneer over a stable core. Supplied raw, or with an optional clear coat. For interior screens and feature walls.
Acoustic feltIndoor12 mm
Polyester acoustic felt: soft, light and quiet. For offices, studios and feature walls.
Questions
Can I order a size that's not listed?
Yes. Ask for a custom size and we'll quote it. If you have your own design file, use the instant quote calculator.
Do the panels come with fixing holes?
Yes, unless you choose “No holes”. Holes are Ø7 mm, 20 mm in from the edge and no more than 450 mm apart.
Which panels can go outside?
Corten and stainless steel. Acrylic, timber and felt are for indoors.
Does Corten arrive rusted?
No. It is cut from bare steel and arrives that way, with no coating and no pre-rusting. Outdoors it rusts naturally; how fast depends on the weather.
Are the panels painted, coated or sealed?
Metal is supplied bare, just as it is cut, with no paint or coating. Timber comes raw, or with a clear coat if you add it. The only colour we add is UV printing on acrylic and felt in colours we don't stock.
Will Corten stain my paving?
While the rust patina forms, run-off can mark light paving and render. Leave a gravel strip or a gap below the panel.
How long does it take?
Every panel is cut to order. We confirm the dispatch date when we confirm your order.
